Lighting Assembly Technician
Location: 1615 Botany Rd, Botany NSW
Job Type: Part-time/Full-time (negotiable)
About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Lighting Assembly Technician to join Studio Enti. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for assembling lighting components to create lighting products. No electrical certification is required, and comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are confident with our processes and standards. Exceptional attention to detail, strong work ethic and a process-driven approach are essential.

Assemble lighting products following step-by-step processes to ensure consistency and quality.
Handle wiring, fixtures, and small components with precision.
Conduct quality checks at every stage of assembly to ensure product integrity.
Collaborate with the production team to align with studio schedules.
Keep a clean and organised workspace to support efficient workflows.
Report any issues or defects in components to the studio production manager.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures while working with tools and equipment.

Hands-on experience in product assembly or a related role (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with small components.
Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in assembly.
Problem-solving mindset to identify and address assembly challenges.
Practical time management skills to meet production deadlines.

Studio Production Manager

About the Role
Studio Enti is looking for a Studio Production Manager to lead our ceramics studio and oversee the production of our lighting and tableware collections. This hands-on role involves managing everything from kiln firings and clay prep to staff coordination and production schedules. We're seeking someone with ceramics expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for creative problem-solving.

Oversee Production Workflow: Plan, manage, and execute production schedules to meet deadlines for wholesale, retail, and custom orders.
Team Leadership and Support: Train, coordinate, and supervise part-time and casual staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Inventory and Materials Management: Monitor and replenish materials like clay, glazes, and tools, placing orders proactively to avoid shortages.
Manage budgets and resource allocation efficiently to meet production goals.
Quality Control and Process Improvement: Ensure all products meet quality standards and refine workflows to boost efficiency and consistency.
Studio Maintenance and Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organised workspace and ensure all operations follow workplace health and safety regulations.

Ceramics Production Expertise: Experience with slip-casting, glazing, and firing in a production studio is essential.
Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to supervise staff and create a collaborative, positive work environment.
Organisational Skills: Strong time management skills and efficient management of multiple tasks and deadlines.
Problem-solving Abilities: Quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions to keep production running smoothly.
Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication is needed to coordinate with staff, management, and external suppliers.
