Corrs Chambers Westgarth, for Electrolight, sydney.

In the ever-evolving world of design, the blending of art forms has become a gateway to innovation and creativity.

The joy of collaboration lies not only in the shared accomplishment but also in the journey itself—a collective exploration of diverse perspectives, talents, and expertise.

We feel truly grateful to have been part of this collaboration where ceramics and lighting came together to make something unique. The partnership between two seemingly unrelated disciplines has given birth to this mesmerising installation.

The final work is suspended over a boardroom table looking out at the iconic Sydney harbourside and knowing it will be enjoyed by many is inspiring and a true privilege.

Commissioned by Electrolight to produce the ceramic component of this installation in the Harbourside boardroom of Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Coupled with the work of Alex and team at Adesign Studio who produced the Bronze dish from which it is suspended - we expanded on the technique of producing our bounty shells to deliver thousands of porcelain oysters in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours.

Each piece was hand moulded with the use of an external mould that had been cast from real oysters, gathered locally.
